S. Jenell Cross 58, of Port Orchard, Washington died December 17 in Port Orchard. Jenell was born November 19, 1942 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to Julius & Nellie (Estes) Cross.Jenell attended Franklin High School in Stockton, California where she graduated in 1960, she also attended Southwestern Bible College in Bethany, Oklahoma.Ms. Cross was a Lab Technician for the Del Monte can plant in Stockton, California for more then 20 years where she retired in 1994. She was a member of the Garden Acres Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stockton and was a member of the Belfair Assembly of God Church in Belfair, Washington.Surviving are her mother Nellie Cross of Port Orchard,brother Jerry Cross of Belfair, sisters Jacquetta Baker of Port Orchard, Fern Bartcher of Albuqquerque, New Mexico and Beverly Hooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, nieces & nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews. Jenell was preceded in death by her father Julius and sister Cherry Lou Ingram.Visitation will be Wednesday December 20 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. Funeral services will be held December 20 7:00pm at the Belfair Assembly of God Church. Interment will be December 22, 2000 at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery in Lodi, California.
