Sandra Ramsey

Sandra L. Ramsey, 62 of Tacoma, died in Tacoma, Washington on October 23, 2006. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington to Leonard & Evelyn (Mutchler) Schmitz. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1962 and attended various local colleges. She married Michael Ramsey in Port Orchard in 1962. He preceded her in death in 1993. Sandra worked as a Librarian's Assistant for 26 years with the Bethel School District in Spanaway, Washington. She also enjoyed sewing and worked as a seamstress. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Surviving are sons Jeffery (Teresa) Ramsey and Mark (Jaime) Ramsey, both of Eatonville, Washington; daughter Kim (Jaymz) Alexander of University Place, Washington; brothers Ted (Sandy) Schmitz of Port Orchard and James (Gertie) Holmes of Lakeland, Florida; sisters Nancy (Dick) Heembrock and Darlene Meier, both of Port Orchard; grandchildren Paris Alexander and Mike & Madison Ramsey.
