Sarah Brown

Sarah Sylvia Brown, 84 of Silverdale, Washington died at Martha & Mary Health Service in Poulsbo, Washington on October 3, 2006. She was born on October 3, 1922 in Ardoch, North Dakota to Frank & Apollonia (Gerszewski) Michalski. Sarah married Richard J. Brown on January 22, 1947 in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 1997. Sarah was a Homemaker and Mother. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary (Post 149) in Bremerton, Washington. Surviving are sons Eugene J. (Viola) Brown of Everett, Washington and Duel R. (Seenie) Brown of Port Orchard; duaghters Dee (Tim) McIntyre of Bremerton, Gidget Dunn of Poulsbo, Shirley (Mike) Robinson of Bremerton, and Kimberly (Skip) Burgener of Piseck, North Dakota; sister Mary Rose Jiskra of Bismarck, North Dakota; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and special friends Ron & Carol Zude and Connie King. She was preceded in death by brothers Leonard & Ralph Michalski and sisters Millie Sobolik & Cecelia Burtell. Funeral service 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard with visitation 2 hours prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
