Selah Lammers

Selay Marr Lammers, age 98, died Nov. 22, 1999 in Port Orchard, WA.  She was born Nov. 10, 1901 in Jericho Springs, MO to Enos and Caltha (Brasher) Hubbard where she was raised.  She most recently worked as a telephone operator before retiring.  During the 1940's and 1950's she worked at the old Port Orchard telephone office, and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard office.  She taught preschool in Port Orchard in the 1960's.  On August 15, 1938 she married Howard Lammers in Stockton, CA.  She is survived by her daughers; Joyce Grinnell of Southworth, WA., Naomi Wilkins of Southworth, WA., Donna Fae Peterson of Edmonds, WA., 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Howard in 1996, her brother Orvill Hubbard, brother Harold Hubbard and sister Emlu Petronelli.  Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA, Nov. 26, 1999 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service.  Funeral services will be at Rill Chapel Nov. 26, 1999 at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery.
