Selma Leach

December 26, 1908 — January 11, 2000

Selma Leach, age 91, died January 11, 2000 in Shelton, WA.  She was born Dec. 26, 1908 in Hanlontown, IA to Mikkel and Anna (Sundvol) Susbak and was raised in Moorhead, MN.  She married Orville Leach on May 11, 1932 in Minnesota. Mrs. Leach was a homemaker.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo and her grandchildren.  She was extremely proud of being part of a 5 generation family.  She was also a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.  She is survived by her son Orville Leach of Shelton, WA., daughters Gloria Bjorkheim of Port Orchard, WA., Arlene Nesseth of Port Orchard, WA., Jeanette Hovermale of Port Orchard, WA., Janice Kittilstved of Spokane, WA., Judith Marr of Milwaukee, WI., sister Bernice Muhle of Moorhead, MN., grandchildren Steven Leach, Don Johanns, Michael Johanns, David Nesseth, Daniel Nesseth, Alan Nesseth, Ron Hovermale, Mark Hovermale, Greg Marr, Kenny Kittilstved, Larry Kittilstved, Dale Kittilstved, Deanna Brown, Linda Johanns, Becky Bittle, Carrie Lee Breeding, Lori Varek, 33 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Orville Leach in 1950, her granddaughter Bonnie Estano, brothers Nick Nelson and Albert Nelson and sister Inga Carpenter. Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard Jan. 17, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.   Funeral Services will be at Rill Chapel Jan. 17, 2000 at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, WA.  A reception will follow at Mr. adn Mrs. Alan Nesseth's residence.  Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis National M.S. Society, 6315 S. 19th St., Tacoma, WA 98466
