Serena Dengler

Serena Marie Dengler, 5, of Burley, Washington died September 3, 2004 at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington due to an accidental fall. She was born April 13, 1999 in Tacoma, Washington to John Edward Dengler and Tina Marie Peichoto. Serena loved anything outdoors; played in the sandboxat her aunt's home; the library was her favorite place and she loved to have someone read to her; enjoyed anything dealing with dinosaurs; loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian - loved her cat "Mr. Whiskers"; enjoyed swimming and being in the water; wanted to fly to the moon; she opened her heart to life. Serena attended St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Serena is survived by her parents - John Dengler and Tina Peichoto of Burley, Washington; sisters - Crystle Peters of Lynnwood, Washington, Amanda Worley of Marrowstone Island, Washington, Hallie Dengler of Marrowstone Island, Washington; grandparents - George and Barbara Peichoto of Port Orchard, Washington, Robert Dengler and Elizabeth Repine of Bremerton, Washington, Elizabeth Collier of Sun City West, Arizona; great-grandmother - Lucy Victorino of Visalia, California; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Key Center Library, 8905 Key Peninsula Hwy N, Lakebay, WA 98349.
