Shari Simmons-Marshall

Shari K. Simmons-Marshall, age 42, died December 19, 1999 in Bremerton, WA.  She was born January 27, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan to Beeman and Elaine (Parkes) Simmons.  She was raised in Gaylord, MI and graduated from Gaylord High School in 1975.  She graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa in 1984.  She worked as a nurse for the past 15 years.  As a nurse she worked in the Indian Health services in Arizona, Nevada, and Montana, at Otsgeo Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, Michigan and at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.  Mrs. Simmons-Marshall enjoyed baseball, landscaping, gardening.  She was the daughter of a baseball scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers.  She married Thomas Marshall on Dec. 26, 1994.  She is survived by her husband Thomas of Port Orchard, WA., mother Elaine Simmons of Gaylord, MI., sisters Stacie Simmons-Bates of Port Orchard, WA., Susan Systma of Grand Rapids, MI., 2 nieces and 1 nephew.  A memorial service will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall at 100 S. Dora, Bremerton, WA on Sunday Dec. 26th, at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Kitsap Unit, PO Box 2383, Bremerton, WA 98310.
