Sharon Rappuhn

June 13, 1938 — November 30, 2006

Shaon Ruby Miller Rappuhn Sharon was born in Tallamook, OR to Richard Herbert Miller and Ruby Belle (Harper) Miller. The family moved to Port Orchard in 1948 where she attended school and graduated from South Kitsap High, in 1956. Her goal was to become a nurse and while taking nursing classes at Pacific Lutheran University, in Tacoma, she met and married Richard Rudolph Rappuhn. 1959. The moved to Kirkland and then to Whidbey Island where they raised their four daughters and she did volunteer work in her church community, social clubs and leadership in the local 4-H programs. In 1989 she obtained her LPN license and did private, Hospital and Nursing Home care. Sharon is survived by her daughters: Tamara Anne (Erik) Dow, Kenmore, Teresa Kaye (Keith) Forsyth, Germany, Tina Marie Rappuhn, Aloha, OR. and Tonya Louise Rappuhn, Arlington, WA. Her six grandchildren and her uncle Glen Harper in CA. and many cousins. Her greatest love was for her God and her pride was in her children. She was gifted in her crocheting, knitting and embroidery and all was done with great detail. Her handwriting was beautiful. Memorial service at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Friday, Dec. 8th at 1:00 PM. Please make any donations to your favorite charity.
