Sonja Harden

Sonja E. Harden died of lung cancer March 31, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 62.She was born October 27, 1940 to Harold and Mae (Montgomery) Lorentson in Smithtown, Long Island, New York.She married Lawrence E. Harden January 14, 1989 in Port Orchard, Washington.Sonja graduated from Smithtown High School, Long Island, New York in 1958.She was formerly the Medical Records Supervisor for Belmont Terrace in Bremerton, Washington; Washington Veterans Home at Retsil, Washington; and, Port Orchard Care Center. She retired in 2001 after 20 years.Sonja enjoyed her family.She is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. Harden of the family home in Port Orchard, Washington; son - John Kruetz of Sunnyslope, Washington; step-sons - Kevin Harden of Aurora, Illinois, and Jeff Harden of Lynnwood, Washington; daughters - Kim Larman (and husband, David) of Sunnyslope, Washington, and Cindy Kruetz of Bremerton, Washington; sister - Sharon Anderson (and husband, Richard) of Port Orchard, Washington; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: sister - Arlena Lawrence, brothers - Frank Miller and Harry Lorentson.A funeral service will be held Friday, April 4, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington.Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington.Memorial donations may be made to:American Cancer SocietyKitsap UnitP.O.
