Stanford Grice

Stanford Odell Grice, 68 of Belfair, went to be with Jesus on May 14, 2009 in Bremerton.  He was born at home in Century, FL on December 29, 1940 to Albert Daniel & Odie Mae Grice.  He was the youngest of three children.  He married Janet Shaw and together they raised four sons.  They were married five months short of fifty years. Odell worked as a union carpenter and later went into business as a residential contractor.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1971. Surviving are his wife Janet; sons James Albert, Standford Donnell, John Alan & Robert Scott Grice; sixteen grandchildren (eleven girls and five boys); brother Otis Donnell Grice; sister Ann Alessi; and many friends. Celebration of Life service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Christian Life Center in Port Orchard.  Inurnment will be at Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton.   He will be missed by all.
