Stanley Halsey

Stanley W. Halsey, 94, of Lakeland Village in Allyn, WA, died November 7, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center in Bremerton, WA. He was born July 19, 1914 in Hussard, Alberta, Canada to Robert and Effie Halsey. On February 3, 1962 Stanley married Florence (Benson) Edwards in Pullman, WA. He worked as a machinist at Coulee Dam for 30 years. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Moose and Elks Clubs, and Lakeland Village Mens Club. Stanley enjoyed fishing, golfing, boating, hunting, playing bridge, and breaking horses. Survivors include his wife Florence; two stepsons, Leonard Edwards, of Allyn, WA, and Kenneth Edwards, of Yakima, WA; and a brother Raymond Halsey, of Coulee Dam, WA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Judy and 6 siblings. A family celebration will be held at Coulee Dam at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA.
