Stephanie Thomas

Stephanie D. Thomas 42. of Wenatchee, and a former longtime resident of Methow, passed away quietly at her home on Saturday, February 15, 2003, surrounded by her family.She was born May 19, 1960 to Harold Edison and Harriet Ella (Lindemann) Thomas at Bremerton, Washington. She was raised and educated in Pt. Orchard, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1978. In 1994 she graduated from the Wenatchee Valley College North Campus as a laboratory technician. She worked as a lab tech at the Brewster Hospital from 1994 to 1997.In 2000 she moved to Wenatchee to be near family.Stephanie enjoyed quilting; she loved dancing, music, being with her family and loved her nieces and nephewsSurvivors include her daughter, Laura Thomas of Wenatchee; her mother, Harriet Metz of Pt. Orchard; nine brothers and sisters, Mary Rathke of Allyn, WA; Rose Roseland of Sonora, CA; Jim Thomas and Mona Webb, both of Twisp; Joel Thomas of Pt. Orchard; Margaret Tippett of Wenatchee; Kevin Thomas of Pt. Orchard; Walter Thomas of Fresno, CA; and Shannon Ruiz of Moses Lake. She was preceded in death by one son and her father.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery (also of Port Orchard).Memorial Donations may be made to:Central Washington Dialysis CenterP.O.
