Stephfen Ulysses Rhuedarr Hurd-Newby died September 20, 2002 at his home in a house fire in Bremerton, Washington. He was 3.He was born April 5, 1999 to Robert A. Newby and Dorothy J. Leilani (Hall) Hurd.He was a joy to everyone he met; a ham in front of the camera; camping and fishing; purple was his favorite color; loved to play a game where if someone said, "I love you" he would say, "I love you more"; always had a twinkle in his eye; had smile for everybody.He is survived by his parents Robert Newby and Dorothy J. Leilani (Hall) Hurd of Bremerton, Washington; sister Kristina N. (Hall) Dosch, of Gainesboro, Tennessee; fraternal grandparents, Allan and Clara Newby, of Brandon Mississippi; maternal grandfather Rocky E. Hall of Ft. Worth, Texas; and maternal grandmother Susan D. Dosch of Gainesboro, Tennessee; and by great grandmother, Ann E.
