Steven Beach

Steve Beach, 67, died at his home in Port Orchard on October 26, 2009.  He was born September 3, 1942 in Longview, WA to Dale & Margaret (Quinn) Zbaeren.  He graduated from Kelso High School in Kelso, WA in 1960. Steve served in the U. S. Navy for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer E-7 in 1980.  He also worked for 5 years as a Courier for Kitsap Credit Union. Steve was an outdoors man and a member of the Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club and the Elks.  He enjoyed taking pictures of everyone and everything. Surviving are son Donald (Christine) Beach of Ft. Steward, GA; daughter Jolene (Bill) Lathum of Port Orchard; mother Margaret Zbaeren of Longview, WA; brothers William (Chris) Zbaeren of San Diego, CA and Brian (Judy) Zbaeren of Longview, WA; grandchildren Tyler, Teanna, Emily & Stephanie.  Steve was preceded in death by his father Dale. A Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Christian Life Center in Port Orchard.
