Steven M. Taylor of Port Orchard, WA. died January 12, 2006 at the Life Care Center of Port Orchard due to liver failure. He was 44. Steven was born January 16, 1961 in Bellingham, Washington to Ray and Beverly (Bergum) Taylor of Oak Harbor, WA. He married Sarah (Gahms) Taylor May 24, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. Steven graduated from Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor, WA. in 1979. He was a Sales & Finance Manager for the Ford Company for over 20 years, most recent at Bay Ford in Port Orchard. Steven was an active member of the Tacoma Elks. Steve had a passion for collecting, owning and restoring classic cars - especially his 1968 Camaro and the family 1929 Model A. He loved to travel to warm places with his wife, Sarah; and explore new campsites with their motor home and sit by the campfire with his dog Ringo. He is survived by his wife and best friend - Sarah (Gahms) Taylor of Port Orchard, WA.; parents - Beverly Taylor of Bellingham, WA. and Ray Taylor (Nonnie Taylor)of Oak Harbor, WA.; son - Zachary Taylor of Port Orchard; sister - Suzie Thomazin (Kent) of Renton, WA. and family; grandchildren (2) Kevin and Austin Chestnut; step-daughter - Angela Chestnut (Bradley); step-sons - Ryan and Derek Perkins; and, uncles - "Stan" Marvin Bergum, and Ralph Taylor, Jr. of New Prague, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents - Dr. and Mrs. Ralph L. Taylor of Bellingham, WA.; maternal grandparents - Lettie and Elmer Bergum of Bellingham, WA. A Memorial Service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, WA. on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Steven M.
