Steven Varsa

Steven J. Varsa died of a heart attack on February 8, 2003. He was 49.He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 17, 1953 to John F. Varsa and JoAnn (Beck) Varsa.Steven graduated from Hillsdale High School in Hillsdale, Michigan in 1971. He also graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1975.He married Susan K. (Pile) Varsa in Redmond, Washington on December 24, 1980.Steven was employed as Regional Director Medical Sales for 27 years.He was a member of McCormick Woods Men's Club and was a USGA member. Hobbies: golf, golf, and more golf! Interests: family, especially grandchildren, readingHe is survived by his wife, Susie (Pile) Varsa of the family home in Port Orchard, Washington; his mother, JoAnn Doehring (and her husband, Arlo) of Nebraska; daughters - Heather M. Bauer of Auburn, Washington and Amy E. Brown of Newberg, Oregon; sister, Jan Hartmann, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two nieces - Kristin Hartmann and Karen Hartmann; 2 grandchildren - Kyler A. Bauer (2 years) and Maxwell R.Bauer (1 month). He was preceded in death by his fahter, John F.
