Susan Ellwood

Susan K. Ellwood (Guy) of Port Orchard and long time Kitsap County resident died June 17, 2004 at the home of her grandson in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 80. She died of Heart Failure. Susan was born in Bremerton, Washington May 2, 1924 to William T. and Violet U. Zennan. She graduated from Edmonds High School in Edmonds, Washington. Susan worked as a Nanny for 10 plus years; as a dispatcher/driver for Arrow Cab for 16 years; wreath maker at the Holly Tree Farm during the holiday seasons. She was a member of the Bremerton Cruisers Motorcycle Club; enjoyed dancing, oil painting, bowling, gardening; and, was an animal lover. Susan is survived by son - Bill Guy (& wife, Ralene) of Home, Washington; daughter - Gloria Phillips (& husband, Ron) of Poulsbo, Washington; sister - Barbara Scott of Seattle, Washington; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by spouse - George Ellwood and spouse - Bob Guy. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, June 27, 2004 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at VFW #239, 190 S.
