Susan Fisher

Susan Joyce Carlson Fisher, 49, died unexpectedly at her home in Tacoma, WA on April 10, 2012.  She was born July 29, 1962 in Bremerton, WA to William & Maryln (Edens) Carlson.  She  married David K. Fisher in 1984. Susan grew up in Port Orchard, Waldron Island, and Orcas Island.  She attended HS in Belfair and graduated from North Mason HS where she was on the Tennis & Basketball Teams.  She attended Pacific Lutheran University and received her Nursing Degree from Tacoma Community College.  She worked at Tacoma General Hospital in the NICU for 14 years. Susan loved swimming in the ocean, canal, pool, lake, river, or any body of water that would make a splash.  She enjoyed skiing, tennis, running and walking.  Surviving are children Sarah (Justin) Awes & Brian (Emily) Fisher; mother Maryln (Larry Jerue; father William (Cherie) Carlson; maternal grandmother Ardell G. Moen; brothers Michael (Julia) Carlson & Dr. Howard (Dawn) Carlson; sister Judi (Pat) Mc Ferran; step-brothers Mark (Deborah Jerue & Paul (Tricia) Jerue; step-sisters Vicki Jerue & Michelle (Jeff) Watson. Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Online memorial at www.rill.com Susan has a host of good friends with whom she spent a lot of good times.  Her children were her pride and joy and she loved them with all of her heart.
