Susan Mills

Susan E. Mills, 77, of Port Orchard, died at Life Care Center of natural causes surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 25, 1931 in Denver, CO to George and Elsie (Olson) Morrison and graduated from Kent High School Denver in 1949. She also attended the University of Colorado. She married Leon R. Mills on July 18, 1950 in Denver, he preceded her in death in 2005. She was a Domestic Engineer who achieved her MRS in 1950, and a member of the PEO Society. She was a gourmet quality cook and enjoyed gardening, being a grandma and doing charity work. She is survived by her sons Lee Mills (Judi) of Carson City, NV and Kris Mills (Sarah) of Denver; daughters Pamela Black (Jim) of Denver, Karen Hansen (Barry) of Coeur D’Alene, ID and Jennifer Beierle (Pete) of Port Orchard; 13 grandchildren Lisa, Randy, Timothy, Sara and Kathy Mills, Jeremie, Justin and Kyle Wise, Erin and Julia Black, Kristi Thornton, Josh Tucker and Melissa Moore and 7 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 11:00 am.
