Sylvia Tainatongo

Sylvia Fejeran Tainatongo, 69 of Port Orchard, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma on August 17, 2005. She was born on December 14, 1935 in Inarajan, Guam to Jose L.G. & Eduviges L.G. (Meno) Fejeran. Sylvia married Jose T. Tainatongo on January 18, 1958 in Inarajan, Guam. Sylvia was a homemaker who loved family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Surviving is her husband Jose; sons Lawrence (Semra) Tainatongo of Germany, Brian (Terese-Lizama) Tainatongo of Tacoma, and George (Barbara) Tainatongo of Port Orchard; daughters Darlene (Jubil) Morgan of Neah Bay, Washington, Sheryl (Tony) Aguirre of Port Orchard, and Eloise (Mike) Castro of St. Louis, Missouri; brothers Ben, Joseph, and Frank; sisters Josefina, Connie (Chong), Antonia, and Florence; 27 Grandchildren; and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Thomas, John and Jesus Fejeran. Visitation at Rill's Life Tribute Center on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 6:00pm with a Rosary following at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass is Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10:00am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Interment will follow the mass at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
