Teri Wittig

Teri Ann Wittig, 41, of Port Orchard died of cancer April 25, 1999 in Bremerton, Wa.She was born May 25,1957 in Spokane to Richard and Kathleen (Walter) Gumenberg. She was raised in Port Orchard, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1975. She latered attended Olympic College.She was in the apprenticeship program at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Before entering the program, she was employed for more than 10 years with Farmers Insurance in Port Orchard.Survivors include her parents, Richard and Kathleen Gumenberg; a son, Nathan of Port Orchard; a daughter, Nichole of Port Orchard; a brother, Kip Gumenberg of Kent; and three sisters, Mary Eslava, Kim Howarth and Kristin Gumenberg, all of Port Orchard.Visitaion will be from noon to 8pm Thursday 4/29/99 at Rill Chapel. A Funeral service will be 2pm Friday 4/30/99, also at Rill Chapel. Interment will follow at 3pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Education Fund for Surviving Children, Peninsula Federal Credit Union, 1081 Bethel Road, Port Orchard, Wa 98366
