Thelma Dame

Thelma E. Dame, 83 of Port Orchard, Washington died November 14, 2000 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. She was born June 27, 1917 in Evansville, Indiana to Crit and Stella (Blunk) Conway.Thelma attended Central High School in Evansviille,Indiana where she graduated in 1933.Mrs.Dame owned and managed serveral Restaurants for most of her life and worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer in Bullhead, Arizona and Port Orchard where she retired in 1985. Thelma enjoyed traveling and seeing the country.Survivors are her daughter-in-law Edna Oswald of Port Orchard, Washington; 4 grandchildren Betty Lash of Southworth, Washington; Ronnie Oswald of Port Orchard; Don Dame of Sparks, Nevada; and Joey Dame of Port Orchard. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1988, son Don in 1967, daughter Betty in 1943 and infant son Walter in 1946. Inurnment services will be November 17, 2000 3:00pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard with a memorial service held November 20, 2000 7:00pm at The Jehovah Witness Hall in Port Orchard, Washington.
