Thelma Louise Hovde

Thelma Louise Hovde was born on December 13, 1932 in Port Orchard to Alvin and Helen Hovde. She died on November 9, 2022 at Kensington Gardens in Gig Harbor. Thelma graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1951. Thelma went to work for Port Orchard Oil Delivery immediately following her high school graduation. In 1969 she became part owner of the company which eventually became Wilkins Distributing and Port Orchard Oil Delivery. Thelma was exceptionally generous in supporting charitable organizations locally and nationally. She was an avid reader, sports fan, gardener, loved baking and especially enjoyed spending time in the sun. She is survived by her nephews, niece and their families. Thelma will be buried at Sunset Lane memorial Park in Port Orchard.
