Theresa Goodwin

Theresa Eileen Goodwin, 55, of Port Orchard, WA, died of cancer November 17, 2005 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA. Theresa was born April 11, 1950, at Harrison in Bremerton to Tony and Fern (Degnan) Winter. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in 1968. On September 13, 1969, Theresa married Arlond Lee Goodwin. Theresa worked for 23 years as a dental office manager in Port Orchard. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and enjoyed walking, shopping, camping, spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bunco with her friends, and spending time with her "Red Hat" girlfriends. Theresa is survived by her husband Arlond L. Goodwin, of Port Orchard; her parents Tony and Fern Winter, of Port Orchard; daughters Lisa Deisler, Lynae Jackson and husband Chris, and Leann Simpson and husband Scott, all of Port Orchard; brothers Phil Winter and wife Cathie, of Scottsdale, AZ, and Doug Winter, of Mesa, AZ; sisters Kathie McGrath and husband Mike, of Port Orchard, Debbie Tutwiler and husband Millard, of Woodbine, GA, and Mary Norton and husband Larry, of Port Orchard; brothers-in-law Elton Goodwin, Billy Goodwin, and Aaron Goodwin, all of Port Orchard; 4 grandchildren, Dalton Deisler, Kyra Jackson, Skyler and Kenadee Simpson, all of Port Orchard. A rosary will be held on Monday, November 21, 2005, 7PM, at Rill's Life Tribute Center. A mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 12:00PM, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 1150 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366, followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
