Theresa Jean Scott

Theresa Jean Scott, age 61, died of an aggressive form of cancer on March 27, 2023. She is survived by the love of her life, Jim Scott, of 39 years; her children, Ray Scott and his wife, Stacy; her daughter, Julie Hamon and her husband, Jeremy. She had four grandchildren who were the light of her life, Madison, Lincoln, Daniel, and Zachary, and a brother and 3 sisters.

Theresa was born in Montana and grew up in San Diego, CA where she met her husband and married Jim in 1983. She was a devoted, loving wife who supported Jim throughout his naval career. Theresa cheerfully committed her administrative talent working as a church administrator utilizing her bookkeeping and business degree and love for Christ for 16 years at Adventure of Faith Church in Port Orchard, WA.

Theresa and Jim retired together and spent the last few years glamping and traveling together. She enjoyed being active and connecting with others. She spent time with her grandchildren as much as she could. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving and caring person.

All of Theresa’s family and friends will celebrate her life at her funeral on May 13, 2023. Jim and family thank all of the people who have showed their prayers and support for Theresa during the last months of her life.
