Thomas G. Brumbaugh. age 58, died November 20, 1999 in Bremerton, WA. He was born February 12, 1941 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to James and Velma (Keith) Brumbaugh. He was raised in Monrovia, CA. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960 and in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967. He served on the U.S.S. Midway and the U.S.S. Ranger during the Vietnam War. On Nov. 25, 1967 he married Toni Burge, in West Seattle, WA. Most recently he worked as a Marine Machinist in Shop #38 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He worked there from 1967 until 1995 when he retired. Thomas enjoyed the Citizens Band Radio. He was a member of the Peninsula Pacers Radio Club and the Kitsap Saddle Club. He is survived by his wife Toni Brumbaugh of Port Orchard, WA., son Michael Brumbaugh of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; daughters Robin Martin of Cleveland, GA., Amy Brumbaugh of Port Orchard, WA.; brother Glen Brumbaugh of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren Heidi and Chloe Brumbaugh of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, David Martin of Cleveland, GA and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Velma Brumbaugh. Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA., Nov. 23, 1999 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Nov. 24, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00p.m. Funeral services will be at Rill Chapel Nov. 24, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the Rill Chapel Hospitality Room.
