Thomas Butcher

Thomas G. Butcher, 51 of Port Orchard, passed away  in Gig Harbor, WA on May 9, 2012 from his battle with cancer.  He was born in Adrian, MI on September 4, 1960 to Philip & Heidi (Bergstrasser) Butcher.  He graduated from Lakes High School in Tacoma in 1978. Tom worked in many different fields, excelling in each business.  He settled down working in Real Estate in Port Orchard in 1998.  He served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptotech from 1978 to 1982.  Tom loved music, whether at a concert, his home, or in his prized possession “Sally”, a cherry red Mustang. Surviving are wife Ann;  children Kim, Kayla, Tom; mother Heidi; brother Rob; Sister Annemarie.  He was preceded in death by his father Phil and sister Mary. A celebration of Tom’s life will be 1:00 pm Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the America Legion hall in Bremerton.
