Thomas Watts Davis, Jr., 92, of Belfair died Monday at his home.He was born in Moss, Mississippi, to Thomas Watts Davis, Sr., and Lillie Lee (Walker) Davis.He married Irene Roulot on February 15, 1942 in Port Orchard, Washington. She preceded in him in death in 2001.Mr. Davis worked as a shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 30 years retiring in 1969. In addition, he had been a farmer throughout his life.He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Shipbuilders, Blacksmiths and Forgers Local 290, serving the organization as a trustee. He also served on the Mason County Weed Board.Survivors include five sons, James and his wife, Elaine, of Bremerton, John and his wife, Judy, of Kennan, Wis., Benjamin and his wife, Carmen, of Port Orchard, and Stanley and his wife, Soni, and Michael and his wife, Becky, all of Belfair, five daughters, Lora Wood and her husband, Steve, of Gig Harbor, and Sharon Hankinson and her husband, Rich, Peggy Van Buskirk and her husband, Ken, Marilyn Davis and Jacquelyn Mastel and her husband, Ray, all of Belfair; two brothers, Clarence E. Davis of Port Orchard and William Ralph Davis of Hattiesburg, Miss; a sister, Jewell Katensky of Johnstown, Pa; 37 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Belfair Community Baptist Church. A private committal will be held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair.Arrangements are under the direction of Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.Memorial donations may be made to North Mason Food Bank, P.O.
