Thomas Leroy Fisher, 68, died at his home in Gig Harbor, WA on January 20, 2008. He was born in Charlotte, NC on March 25, 1939 to William N. & Geneva (Matherly) Fisher. He graduated from San Angelo High School in San Angelo, TX in 1957. He married Ann L. Dodds on November 2, 1963 in Odessa, TX. Thomas worked at Clover Park College as a professional photographer and instructor. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an E-7 in the Surgery Room from 1966-1978. Thomas also served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1966. He enjoyed writing, flying, photography and camping and was a certified commercial pilot. Surviving are wife Ann; daughters Joanne (Randy) Haffly of Gig Harbor, Kathleen (Mike) Durham of Vancouver, and Amy (Scott) Richards of Oak Harbor; brothers Bill Fisher of CA and John Fisher of GA; sister-in-law Betty Fisher of NC; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Henry, Jerry & Jimmy Fisher and sister Peggy Sue Freeman. Graveside service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
