Thomas B. Flagg, 84 of Port Orchard, Washington died on September 21, 2005 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. He was born on February 7, 1921 in Medina, Washington to Alvin B. & Carrie (Beery) Flagg. Thomas graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington in 1939 and married Florence Engbrecht on July 11, 1944 at Kirkland Congregational Church in Kirkland, Washington. Thomas owned a wholesale flower bulb company, "The Flagg Bulb Company", on the east side in Seattle, retiring after 20 years. He also worked at Lake Washington Shipyard during the war years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Scottish Rite and Nile Temple of Shriners. Thomas loved to golf and fish and was a very good dancer. His special animal friends were Kokomo and Annie. Surviving are his wife Florence; sons Thomas A. (Cindra Rathbone) of Port Orchard and Richard L. (Patty Dowty) of Gig Harbor, Washington; grandchildren Sarah M. Flagg (Ben Brobak) of Port Orchard and Laura A. Flagg of Seattle; and sister-in-law Laura Engbrecht. Graveside service at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Washington on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97201 or the charity of your choice.
