Thomas Lou, 81 of Manchester, WA, died in Seattle on July 4, 2012. He was born May 31, 1931 in Seattle, WA to Yee & Mae (Chin) Lou. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle and married Francis Lee on October 16, 1953 in Reno, NV. Thomas served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during the Korean War and retired from the U.S. Navy in 1976 as an E-7 Chief Petty Officer. He was a handyman for family and loved ones, worked on cars, enjoyed carpentry, remodeling houses, and spending time with neighbors and family. He was close to his beloved dog “Chester”. He was a life member of the Free Masons, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry & Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are wife Frances Lou; son Michael (Sylvia) Lou; daughters Christina (Mark) Heinen and Josephine Mayo; grandchildren Michael, Jr., Franchesca, Gian Luca, Alessandro, Valentina, Susan, Tomaro, Adam, Chloe, Courtney & Collier; 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by siblings Richard, Helen, Doris & Ethel. Graveside service at 1:15pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Visitation on Thursday, July 12th from 1-4:30pm.
