Tom "Ozzie" Myers, Sr. of Port Orchard, Washington died June 4, 2004 in Reno, Nevada. He was 70. He was born May 22, 1934 in Rochester, Minnesota to Richard Arnold and Geraldine (Osborne) Myers. Tom married Patricia Elizabeth (Garno) on June 21, 1952 in Bremerton, Washington. He graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington in 1952. He was manager of T.B. & M. Grocery Store in Port Orchard for 17 years. He was owner of Hi-Joy Bowl in Port Orchard since 1970; owner of All-Star Lanes in Silverdale since 1985; founding member of First National Bank of Port Orchard; developer and previous owner of All-Star Mini-Storage in Belfair. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, racket ball, traveling and spending time with family and friends. "Ozzie" is survived by his wife - Patricia Elizabeth (Garno) Myers of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - Thomas Osborne Myers, Jr. (& wife, Laurie) of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Teresa Lynn Goodwin (& husband, Billy) and Mickie Linette Hoem (& husband, Don) and Jackie Rae Havill (& husband, Mike); brothers - Dale and Dave Myers of Seattle and Bob Myers of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren (John Myers, Danae Krecker, Jamie Lince, D.J. Hoem, Marti Petersen, Mindi Goodwin, Shelly Havill, Thomas Myers, III, Timothy and Kylie Myers); 6 great-grandchildren (Makenna Petersen, J.J. Krecker, Gracie Krecker, Chase Petersen, Kaycee Hoem, Emma Krecker). He was preceded in death by: brother - Gerald Myers. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 11, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Center in Port Orchard, Washington. Following the Memorial Service there will be a Celebration Gathering (from 12 noon - 5:00 p.m.) at Hi-Joy Bowl in Port Orchard for all of Tom's friends.
