Thomas Joseph Victory Jr.

Thomas J. Victory, 90 entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Park Vista Assisted Living Center in Port Orchard, Washington. He was born at Holy Name Hospital, in Teaneck, New Jersey to Thomas J. Victory and Grace M. (Osborne) Victory. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Grace M. Cleary and Jane (Sister M Emmanuel Victory, RSM), and nieces Kathleen A. Cleary and Sandra Feathers, and nephew Jesse Feathers.

Tom married Viola M. Manfroy, July 17, 1954 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Viola passed away in 2002 and was the love of Tom’s life. Their friends and neighbors remember them as a wonderful and loving couple.

Tom entered the United States Navy May 1944 and retired as a Master Chief July 1970 with over 26 years of distinguished service to the nation he loved. He was a gentle and kind man. Tom and Viola moved to Port Orchard in 1961 and made it their home. After retiring from the Navy, Tom went back to work at Occidental Chemical Corp. until his final retirement in 1991.

Tom is survived by his niece Sister Mary Cleary, RSM, of New Jersey and nephew John Cleary of South Carolina.

At Tom’s request there will be no formal services.
