Tomas Flores

Tomas L.G. Flores, 74 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton, Washington on February 3, 2000.  He was born February 17, 1925 in Agana, Guam to Manuel & Maria (Leon Guerrero) Flores.  Tomas married Remedios Santos on February 5, 1949 in Guam.Mr. Flores worked for 20 years with the Department of Public Works on Guam, retiring in 1976 as a Highway Repair Superintendent.Surviving are his wife; son Tomas L.G. Flores, Jr. of Guam; daughters Bobbie F. Jastillana of Lompoc, California, Gloria F. Guerrero of Guam, Bertha F. Acosta of Guam, Patsy F. Cepeda of Guam, Pauline F. Borja of Port Orchard, Washington; brother Manuel Flores of San Diego, California; sister Beatrice Flores Blas of Guam; 29 grandchildren and 11 grreat-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by son Raymond Palomo, daughter Doris Flores Yatar, brothers Jesus & Ignacio Flores, and grandchildren Frankie Acosta & Norbert T. Yatar.Visitation at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Thursday, February 10th from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday, February 11th from 9:00am to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm.  Funeral Mass will be at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard at 10:00am with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
