Tommy Leo Templeton, passed January 28, 2012. He is survived by his siblings Julius Templeton (Ann) and Starla Smith (Craig), children Julia Smith (Trevor), Jay Templeton, Paula Templeton, and Lee Templeton, grandchildren D.J. Akers (Justin), Nicole Smith, Katie Templeton, Lexi Templeton, and great-granddaughters Christina and Izabella Akers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy was born in Texarkana, AR October 20, 1939 to Paul and Anne Templeton, and moved to Bremerton, WA as a child. He graduated from East High School in 1958, and served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963. He retired a truck driver from Stellar Industrial Supply. He and his wife, Janice, were married in October 1978. She preceded him in death in July 2004. He was also preceded by sisters Nancy Conway, Rebecca Templeton, and parents. Tommy was a member of the VFW, NRA, and Teamsters. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and crab. He spent much time at his beloved cabin in Dewatto with friends and family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Living Waters Fellowship, 1541 Sylvan Way, Bremerton.
