Tressie Hicks

Tressie A. Hicks, 84, of Port Orchard, WA, died peacefully March 14, 2010, at Hospice Care Center in Bremerton, WA. Tressie was born May 29, 1925 to Dan and Florence (Pangborn) Jones. She loved spending time in her rose garden and reading. Tressie attended the Colby United Methodist Church and hung out with the Waterman Gals. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Hicks and a daughter Anita Spatz. She is survived by a son, James Hicks, of Port Orchard; daughters, Karen Wright, of Silverdale, WA, Julie Tolin, of Calif, and Debbie Kenfield, of Port Orchard; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and 1 sister. A special thank you to Group Health Hospice and Hospice of Kitsap County for their loving care of Tressie. Memorial donations can be made to either hospice organization. A service honoring Tressie's life will be held Saturday, March 20, 1PM at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
