Troy was born on December 2, 1991 to David and Nancy Currier, and his big brother, Kirke Currier. Troy and Kirke were inseparable from that day forward.
We wish that we could make time stand still, keeping you forever as Troy Boy…that inquisitive little kid who could make adults break out laughing with your need to know everything. Only by looking through photos can we hold time still. Whistler, Timberline, Yellowstone, Boldt Castle, Deer Harbor, Washougal, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Treasure Island, Ventura, Thousand Islands, Lake George, house boats on the Mississippi and Redo Canal, Crystal Mountain, California, Florida, Desert 100, racing in the Tacoma Dome, Labrador Mountain, Song Mountain, Ocean Shores, Niagara Falls, BBR indoor championship. Through it all you were a happy, smiling person who was always up for anything: learning to play guitar, jumping off a 40 ft. bridge into the Washougal River, flying down the mountain on your snowboard, having titanium bars and screws installed and being with your brother when it counted. You had the rare personality and skill to do anything you wanted in your life. We always supported you in your endeavors. With your grandfather’s zest for life, you left home for college in Bellingham and, after returning home for a short period, spread your wing s and flew to Jacksonville, Florida. There, you met your girlfriend, Sophia, found a good job at the VA Hospital and, true to your nature, gathered many close friends. During your recent visit home, we were excited to celebrate your decision to pursue an IT degree.
May you always fly high & far and land smoothly and softly.
