Valentine Schaaf,

Valentine Christ Schaaf, Jr. died January 27, 1999 in Port Orchard, WA.  He was born July 15, 1920 in New England, N.D. to Valentine and Barbara Schaaf,Sr.  He was a farmer and a self-employed mechanic.  Mr. Schaaf was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, WA.  He is survived by his wife, Tillie Schaaf, sons David Schaaf, Ben Schaaf, Bernie Schaaf, Leon Schaaf, Tim Schaaf,  Neil Schaaf, Ron Schaaf, daughters Janet Franckowiak, Valorie Duncan, Linda Franckowiak, brother Clem Schaaf, sisters, Elizabeth Hecker, Josephine Kazmarek, 26 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Monday 2/1/1999 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church from 10-11:00 a.m.  Funeral services will be Monday 2/1/99 at the church at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are by Pendleton Gilchrist Funeral Home.
