Victor Lesher

Victor (Vic) Clifford Lesher, 79 of Tacoma, passed away November 19, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Port Orchard after a battle with cancer and heart disease.  He was born to John Frecht Lesher and Elizbeth Mae Trimble on April 26, 1929, in Lancaster, PA.  He was the 11th of 15 children.  Vic joined the U.S. Navy in 1946 and was honorably retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1967.  Vic served in World War II, Korea, & Vietnam. Vic moved to Washington State in 1975 and married Dorothy G. Lesher on August 23, 1978.  They resided in Port Orchard and Tacoma.  Dorothy passed away in 1999. Vic is survived by sisters Violet Dull of Lititz, PA, Kathryn Rowe and Leta Barton, both of Lancaster, PA; brothers Kenneth Lesher of Lancaster, PA and Roy Lesher of Winnsboro, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Vic will be terribly missed by family and friends. A Veteran’s burial will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11:30 am.
