Victor Leon "Lee" Smart, 72, of Belfair died Wednesday in Belfair. He was born in Clehit, Oklahoma, to John and Sallie (Putman) Smart. He graduated from high school in Arcata, California, and from Humboldt State University in Arcata. On February 14, 1984, he married Marguerite Harris in Issaquah. Mr. Smart served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1958, achieving the rank of staff sergeant. He went on to own the Rainbow Relics Antique Store in Belfair for 15 years. He also worked as a carpenter and electronics repairman. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael and David Smart, both of Chicago; two stepsons, Mark Robertson of Mountlake Terrace and Paul Robertson of Shoreline; two sisters, Maxine Braziel of Napa, California and Johnny Fae Parks of Sacramento, California; and four grandchildren, Cody and Kayla Caden and Morgan and Rita Carvalho. Services are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
