Madison Ann Simpson
July 19, 2015 – October 14, 2017
Madison was born on July 19, 2015 to Merle Eugene Simpson III and Victoria Ann Coen in Puyallup WA. She captured the hearts of her parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Her giggles and smile were contagious. When she smiled everyone around her became filled with joy, happiness and laughter.
Madison’s mother loved to snuggle with her during nap time and spent many hours playing and learning together. Her dad loved to play with her, chasing each other through the house and cooking together. Nana loved singing her favorite songs like wheel on the bus and if you’re happy and you know it, often showering Madison with her favorite treats. Lola loved teaching her, and often enjoyed sleepovers, movie nights, and baking cupcakes together. Madison’s Grandfathers where wrapped around her little finger.
Just before Madison turned 1, her baby brother Collin Daniel Simpson popped into her life. She embraced him with kisses, and loved to comfort her brother when he cried. They quickly became inseparable, playing games like peek-a-boo and tag through the house. Madison loved to go on many family adventures to the park, zoo, and aquarium.
At age 2 she could count to 15, recite her ABC’s and point out colors. Her favorite color was purple. She liked butterflies and often sported a set of wings when she played. Madison had a special bond with her orange tabby named Toulouse.
She led a life full of bliss. She liked to swim, read, go to the toddler gym, listen to stories, spend time with her family, and tell her mom, “Momma, I like cupcakes too!” Madison was innocent, sweet, and kind. She is forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten.

Collin Daniel Simpson
July 18, 2016 – October 14, 2017
Collin was born in Tacoma WA at exactly nine minutes before midnight on July 18, 2016 to Merle Eugene Simpson III and Victoria Ann Coen. His soon to be one-year old sister greeted him with kisses, welcoming him into a family that was completely smitten with the new addition. He had the most beautiful laugh. It brought tons of joy and happiness to his family to hear that magical sound.
When Collin started to walk, he followed his sister Madison everywhere. When he learned to run, he chased her around the house. Collin and Madison quickly became a dynamic duo. He was the Robin to her Batman.
He loved to play peek-a-boo with the curtains every chance he got. He liked to climb, swim, play outside, jump around the bounce house, and listen to story time with his big sister, forever by his side. When his adventures with his big sister took them to the park, he would often be found laughing in the swings.
His family liked to watch him dance to “Wheels on the bus”. His favorite color was red. Collin was a joyful, happy, silly, strong little boy who liked bath time and bubble parties. Collin had robust appetite and enjoyed an variety of food. He would be the first one to the table and the last one to leave.
We will cherish every moment that we spent with him in this life. The musical sound of his laughter will forever reverberate in our hearts.
