Virginia Louise Minor
August 15, 1922 — December 7, 2018
Virginia Minor died peacefully at home on Dec 7. Virginia was born in Providence Rhode Island on August 15, 1922. Her family moved to Ohio where she met Howard Minor. They married in May of 1942 and Moved to Port Orchard in 1952.
Virginia was very active in Soroptimist and Orthopedic guilds through out her life. She was a member of Soroptimist of Port Orchard for 50 years. She worked in her husbands dental office.
Virginia could always be seen around town with her big dogs and loved going to the dog park. She was an advocate for animals her whole life.
Virginia is survived by her three children. Her husband Howard proceeded her in death in June of 2017. Virginia should be remembered for her kind heart and giving to the community she loved.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Soroptimist of Port Orchard or your favorite animal rescue. She will be missed by all.
