Virginia Nesseth

Virginia Nesseth, 84, died at her home in Port Orchard, Washington on November 17, 2005. She was born on September 23, 1921 in Clarksdale, Missouri to John Bynum & Ethel (Thornton) Wren. She graduated from Maysville High School in Maysville, Missouri in 1940 and marrried Purley N. Nesseth in California on July 22, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1980. Virginia worked for the Kitsap County Assessors Office in Port Orchard for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crocheting, sewing. "Pohoe", her little Pomeranian was her loving companion. Surviving are son Gary (Debra) Nesseth of Port Orchard; daughters Kay (Michael) Browning of Olalla, Washington and Karla (Bruce) Silva of Hilo, Hawaii; brother J.C. Wren of Maysville, Missouri; sister Wilma (Roy) Carrel of Union Star, Missouri; grandchildren Shana (Greg) Bridges, Troy (Arlene) Toussaint, Tiffany Toussaint, Kenneth Browning, Bridget Browning; step granchildren Zachary Roth, Joseph McIntosh, Bruce Konakoppe, Jr., and Samantha Silva; and great-grandchildren Chris & Ryan Bridges, Jordan Toussaint, Savannah Toussaint, Kenneth Browning, Jr., Jasmin & Kendra Browning, and Anthony Browning. Funeral service will be at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Friday, November 25, 2005 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard following the service.
