Virginia Sogge

Virginia Ortiz Sogge, 55 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on March 4, 2011.  She was born February 3, 1956 in Cebu City, Philippines to Eugenio & Alejandra Ortiz.  She married Paul K. Sogge in San Diego, CA on June 6, 1990. Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and cooking.  She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic church in Port Orchard.  She also worked as a housekeeper from 2008 – 2010 at Park Vista Assisted Living Home in Port Orchard. Surviving are husband Paul; sons Kristopher K. Sogge and Richard McGowan; daughters Katrina M. Sogge, Karina J. Sogge & Lisa M. McGowan; brother Roger (Maria) Ortiz; sisters Mechua Ortiz & Teresa Alenda.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Evelyn Ortiz. Visitation from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Memorial Mass at 11:00am on Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Father Dell Scholorship Fund, C/O of St. Gabriel, 1150 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
