Walter J. "Jerry" Coldiron, 76 of Belfair, died in Silverdale, WA on July 24, 2008. He was born March 21, 1932 in Aberdeen, WA to Walter & Ellen (Nulph) Coldiron. He graduated from West Bremerton High School "Wildcats" in 1950 and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Jerry worked for 25 years at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as an Outside Machinist, retiring in 1995. He also co-owned Marbilique Enterprises in Tacoma. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a Sgt. Medic from 1952-1955. Jerry was an award winning car enthusiast and showman. He enjoyed gardening, wood working & spending time with his grandsons. He was a Kitsap County Search and Rescue Diver. Surviving are sons Mack & Todd Coldiron, both of Belfair; grandsons Jonathan, Tanner & Riley Coldiron; and special friends Jack & Kathy Johnson and Jack & Bonnie Farmer. Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 15, 2008 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Interment following at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair.
