Wanda Sue Barnes of Port Orchard, Washington died August 11, 2004 in Bremerton, Washington due to complications of Long-Term Diabetes. She was 57. She was born October 25, 1946 in Middletown, New York to Edward and Ethel (Halstead) Barnes. She graduated from Middleton High School in Middleton, New York in 1964. She also graduated from Orange County Community College in Middleton, New York in 1966. Wanda worked as a medical technologist at Horton Hospital in Middleton, New York for 17 years; and, for Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington for 1 year. She also worked for St. Jospeh's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington for 9 years. Wanda enjoyed music, sports (NY Yankees); loved her cats, T.V. and reading. Wanda is survived by long-time special friend - Victor Razo; brother - Edward Barnes (& wife, Donna) of Port Orchard, Washington; nieces: Angela (Barnes) Gaston and Rebecca Barnes; nephew: Edward O. Barnes. A visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on August 17, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. A funeral will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on August 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard on August 17, 2004 at 3:30 p.m.
