Warren Mcginnis

Warren Durham Mcginnis of Port Orchard, Washington died November 2, 2004 in Port Orchard due to cancer. He was 80. He was born November 9, 1923 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania to Brig. General Harold A. and Kathryn L. (Durham) Mcginnis. Warren graduated from South Illinois Uiversity in Jacksonville, Illinois and from the University of Washington. He served as a major in the U.S. Air Force. Warren worked as a Classified Documents Administrative Assistant at Keyport, Washington. He retired in 1994. Warren enjoyed canoeing, hiking, bird watching, classical music, playing with his cats and spending time with his friends and companion. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Warren is survived by his companion - Irene Schaefer - of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; sister - Mildred Beck of Bremerton, Washington; niece - Barbara Tomlinson; cousin - Richard Mcginnis (& wife, Jane); grand kids: Eddie Heflin, Jeffrey Price, Anthony Guitterez, Megeal Gustamante.
