Warren Reese Traylor, 85 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on January 10, 2010. He was born April 14, 1924 to Spurgeon & Mary (Reese) Traylor in Adair County, KY. He married Irene Palmer in 1958 in Louisville, KY and she preceded him in death in 2003 after 45 years of marriage. Warren was self-employed in home remodeling for 30 years. He served in the Army-Air Corps from 1943 to 1946 as a Corporal Utilities Technician in China, Burma, and India Theatre. He earned American & the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbons, Victory Medal WWII & Good Conduct Medal. Warren loved to cook and was know for his fried chicken, gravy & biscuits, and baked ham. He loved to help people in need and loved Jesus Christ. Surviving are son Warren Traylor, Jr. of Glasgow, KY; daughter Karen Hanley and son in law Oliver Hanley of Port Orchard; sister Marie Wilson of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren Tammy Traylor of FL, Josh Traylor of Glasgow KY, Aaron Traylor of Louisville, KY Morgan, Joseph & Paul Hanley of Port Orchard, David Traylor of Tacoma; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Lucille. Graveside service at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 19th at Retsil Cemetery on Olney.
