Wells Soden

Wells E. Soden, age 71, died July 23, 2000 in Bremerton, WA. He was born September 29, 1928 in Yakima, WA to Earl and Cora (Houck) Soden. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Soden was married to Edith (Speer) Soden until her death in 1966, and to Ruth (Boe) Soden until her death in 1993. He most recently worked as a heavy equiupment mechanic at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Masons and Past President of the Good Sam Trailer Club. Mr. Soden was also a member of the Port Orchard United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons Ed Soden of Port Orchard, WA., Dale Soden of Marysville, WA., daughter Colleen Lininger of Chehalis, WA., special companion Alice Theroux of Port Orchard, WA., 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, July 27 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at Haven of Rest Cemetery July 28, 2000 at noon.
