Wes was born January 31, 1938 in Huntington, Oregon to George & Luella Cote. He died on December 22, 2016 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington.
Wes served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, reaching the rank of Staff Sargent. He lived in Hawaii for several years – his favorite place – before moving back to Port Orchard. Wes drove a Taxi in Port Orchard, was manager of the Maintenance Department for Orchard on the Green apartments. He worked for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, later transferring to Subase Bangor, where he retired. Wes loved to garden and always had a beautiful yard.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents, brother Melvin, and twin brother Leslie. He is survived by his partner of 22 years, Mary Andera; daughter Cynthia (Jeff) of Port Orchard; son Gregory (Petrice) of Germany; granddaughters Cynthia Cote of Olympia & Mande Cote of Germany; sister Peggy (Rick) Gray of Poulsbo; and his constant companion Precious!
Wes was a big man with a big heart. A very generous and loving man. He will be missed so much by all who knew and loved him. Rest now Dear Wes.
